Our minister           Rev. Dr. Louise Hearn has brought a new approach to our Sunday evening services, they have gone cafe style!

Our cafe style services offer a relaxed and informal atmosphere with a constant flow of tea/coffee and biscuits, modern worship music and a warm welcome. Cafe Church has been a great success and we have been blessed with significantly increased numbers attending the Sunday evening service.

Another benefit that this service has brought is that it has become interdenominational in the congregation, with worshipers from other churches who do not offer an evening service on Sundays joining with us at Bethesda. This coming together of the different parts of the one body has brought significant blessing to many that attend and has brought a richness to the fellowship before, during and after the services.

Cafe style is also ideal for those who are new to church as there are no formalities to get wrong, but is an opportunity for a friendly welcome to a great evening. And with our new lounge area at the back of the hall you can enjoy the service on our comfy setees - but come early if you want one of these!
